My Library

HTML & XHTML: The Definitive Guide
Chuck Musciano, Bill Kennedy

I am using this as a reference for creating websites, although I probably rely more on the internet for information about HTML and Javascipt. I don't think this would be a good book for those who are completely new to HTML - it seems geared more towards those who are already familiar with it.

Christianity, Social Tolerance, and Homosexuality : Gay People in Western Europe from the Beginning of the Christian Era to the Fourteenth Century
John Boswell

A textbook that I have only partially read.

Please Understand Me: Character & Temperament Types
David Keirsey, Marilyn Bates

My parents bought me this book in 2001 but, as of it, I have not read it.

Marshall Brain's How Stuff Works
Marshall Brain

A neat illustrated book that shows how everything from toilets to modems work.

David Great Lives Series: Volume 1
Charles R. Swindoll

A book about King David.

Webster's Compact Rhyming Dictionary

The Nelson Study Bible
New King James Version

The Nelson Study Bible has a lot of information packed around the NKJV translation of the Bible. It also features a concordance. It has a conservative slant (what NKJV study bible wouldn't?), and so the contributors do not much care for any view that takes a critical look at the Bible. An example would be the preface to the book of Isaiah and the debate about Isaiah having three authors. A good study Bible, but I think this should not be your only one.
