Ratty!

Ratty was my very first pet rat! I saw her in one of the pet stores in town in a tank with all her little siblings. She was the only blonde rat in the tank! I scooped her up and brought her home, and immediately went out and bought her all sorts of goodies and a new cage the store said was suitable (which I found out was true for while she was itty bitty, but not for while she was a big rat!). She was a lone rat for a couple months before I brought home Twosocks.

Ratty no longer lives with me :( After being bitten very badly a few times (I don't learn), I decided to put her up for adoption with the stipulation that she must go to an experienced home because she bites like no other. I miss my baby Ratty :(

Ratty's name came from being a nickname. I originally named her Sif after the Norse goddess, but I always called her Ratty.

She was saved from a near-death illness!

Baby Ratty
Ratty a few minutes after I brought her home. She stayed in an old hamster cage for about an hour while I went out to get her a bigger cage.
