The girls get plenty of free-roaming time! They used to just get the bed to play on, but now they get the whole room! Ushi, however, tends to stick to the dresser and cage area. The ladder to the left goes down to the dresser where the ratties always end up. They don't really use the ladder yet, but they chew on it! The ladder at the bottom goes down to the little rat hideout! Every time I find a new box, it gets turned into a rat toy :) The girls love running in and out of their boxes! I'm working on converting all boxes sitting around by the cage into one big, attached castle! I need to find some good thick tubes to use for it! UPDATE! I bought a Martin's R670 to house Kerfuffle while he was waiting for his neuter to take affect. The 670 is now on top of the 690! It is one massive cage, now! I will get some new pictures up asap! I highly recommend Martin's for your cage-buying needs! They helped me decide which cage to add onto my 690, modified the 670 for me, and got it to me in two days! They also were very helpful when I bought a 695 for my friend's ratties by modifying the door sizes and getting the cage to him in one day!! Amazing service and quality! UPDATE AGAIN! I bought Daredevil and Kerfuffle a Marchioro Rene Rat 72 Kit from Petblvd.com. This will serve as their bachelor pad until Devil is ready to be housed with the ladies (3 weeks after his neuter date in April). |
