What can I say? When I walk into a pet store looking for rat toys or food (or treats!), I'm a sucker for looking at the cute little baby rats... and bringing them home!! Bandit was brought home a few weeks after I got little Peanut. I was told she was raised by hand, but that could not have been possible. She is the biggest scaredy-rat in the house! "The Bandit Project" is a review of Jane Adamo's Forced Socialization method I tried with Bandit over the course of 5 days (Sep 20-24, 2006).
Bandit's got her name from... her face! Isn't she the cutest lil masked rattie?
Bandit Facts:

She loves to hide.

She will push your finger out of her way with her nose.

She is great at chewing through paper towel rolls, but prefers to chew on the cage!
