I came up with this idea when I was finishing the last project, which meant it couldn't get started in a timely manner. :D

Elliot got a promotion, which meant he now has a real OFFICE with WALLS, which would of course need some decoration! And his favorite animal just happens to be…guess what?

Approx. 2 ft. by 3 ft. (.6m x .9m); applique, pieced borders, embroidery, fabric paint, beads. And soon as I hung it for photography I realized that no matter how many times I had measured and squared its parts, it was not often enough. Then I got out the yardstick and confirmed that suspicion.
I had just described to my sister how it was possible to double your fabric selection in a colorwash quilt by turning the fabrics over and using the reverse sides as well as the fronts, so when I decided the print I used for the mountains was too dark and bold, well… flip! and there it was.
