Your incoming mail comes into a mailbox called the INBOX.

Just like your bills, it is not smart to have 300 messages just sitting there on a pile! Make some more mailboxes (like file folders under the larger INBOX, that are titled

to be answered

information files

humor

school correspondence

etc.

To do this, right click on your Inbox and choose "New folder". (Or find a similar command in your menu after Inbox is highlighted.) Then give this new folder the name that you want.

When you get mail, you will then know where to put it after you read it. In order to do this you can drag and drop your files into the new folder.
