the Commonwealth Public Policy Advocacy Council (CPPAC)
Who
Registered lobbyists and other public policy advocates who do business
in Kentucky, but particularly those who represent non-profits and
other community-based organizations, and educational agencies and
organizations.

Creating Access and Opportunity for Kentucky’s Public Policy
Advocate Community
Mission
CPPAC exists to promote dialogue and exchange among Kentucky lobbyists
and other public policy advocates and the state government community
through training, networking and information sharing.
Member
Benefits (proposed)
- Opportunities
to network with elected officials and government leaders at periodic
breakfasts or lunches at organized national or regional events
of interest to lobbyists and other public policy advocates.
- Access
to a private chat room where Council members can share information,
ask for ideas and answer colleagues’ questions, twenty-four
hours a day, seven days a week. Special “issue chats”
will be set up on an as-requested or as-needed basis.
- Opportunities
for professional development at periodic meetings and seminars
to learn more about issues of particular interest to lobbyists
and other public policy advocates. In addition to issue-oriented
events, there will be seminars on lobbying techniques and best
practices.
- Access
to an e-directory of other Council members.
- A
respected voice for lobbyists and other public policy advocates,
where CPPAC will issue resolutions as requested by a majority
of members on issues affecting its members.
