MISSIONS

Missions are very important to us here at Morning Star. We commit a regular percentage of our budget toward outreach both at home and abroad. In addition to this, we receive a monthly offering specially designated for missions, called our Shakeout Offering. This offering is used to support various missionary outreaches in other countries. Our present areas of emphasis outside the U.S. include Russia, Haiti, Peru, and France.

We also support Street Level Ministries, a ministry to the people of the French Quarter of New Orleans,. Closer to home, we also support various ministries in our community including, Madison County Pregnancy Care Center, New Horizon Maternity Home, the Christian Center, Operation Love, Youth for Christ, Families Forever Ministries, In As Much Soup Kitchen, and the Madison County Sheriff's Chaplaincy Program.
