Harding / Hardin / Hardine Crouch 3 (John 2, Richard1) was(son) born 16 June 1772, in Goochland Co VA. He migrated to Montgomery, Co., Tn. between possibly as early as 1805 based upon the Montgomery County, Tn. Sheriff's enumeration below but generally thought to be between 1810 and 1820, died in 1845, Montgomery Co TN [7] ; married Dorothy Murray about 1810. She was born about 1789 in Virginia, and died March 4, 1859 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.[2]

December 28, 1799 Land Indenture in Goochland County, Virginia from Hardine's mother Susannah Crouch, the wife of John 2 Crouch deceased lists : Harden Crouch of the North Western territory" See John 2 Crouch.1802, 1803 and 1804 Pittsylvania County, Virginia (county just north of Rockingham Co., N.C.) Tax list lists Hardine Crouch taxed only for himself and a horse adjacent to John & Susannah Crouch.
