There are several ways to find a page that you have previously visited before.

The first one is the BACK button but it only goes back to where you started today. HINT: In Netscape, hold the back button down for one second to see where you have been. In Explorer, click on the little triangle next to it.

The second only works if you type in your addresses. These will all be displayed if you click on the little triangle next to the address.

The third way is to click on the History Button
In Netscape, click on Menu Communicator Tools History (CTRL+H)

This feature shows you where you have been today, yesterday or even three weeks ago! Click on any site to go there again.

You can tell your computer how long you want to keep track of your website visits.
Explorer: Menu Tools Internet Options General tab
Netscape: Menu Edit Preferences Navigator

NB. You notice that you can also clear this list. If you want to know where you children have been, do not allow them to "erase" their past activities. Why would they ever want to do that?

One last option to detect past Internet activity is to go to the folder where all the Internet files are temporarily stored on your computer.

Explorer: C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files
Netscape: C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\yourname\cache
