Hi!!
My
name is Dawn Marie Willard.
I
am in central Illinois.
I
am 5' 2" with golden blonde hair and hazel brown/green eyes.
I
am currently 33 and single.
My
favorite animal is a Sea Turtle and favorite color is..clear. ;o}
My
favorite Author is Jane Austin. My favorite Movie is "Support
Your Local Sheriff". My favorite song is "In Your Wildest
Dreams" by the Moody Blues. My favorite music is instrumental or
classic and 80's rock. I love Sting and Phil Collins etc etc. OMD is
good too! Ohhh, ohhh can't name them all. hahaha But my pages have
some of the stuff I like playing. :o}
Here
is my life story: (well most of it, minus lots of details. My life
is an open book...but some of the pages may be stuck together. ;o} )
I
was born in Des Plaines Illinois on Oct 19, 1972.
I
have a brother who is 3 years older than me, his name is Tom.
We
moved from Des Plaines when I was just 7 so I don't remember too
much about my life there, or who was in our congregation.
Really
I remember just Helen Lipman and her 2 sons Keith and Kevin. We used
to play with them a lot and I remember them both as being very sweet. ;o}
Lets
see we moved to Florida when I was 7 and we moved around quite a lot
at first. So I don't remember much of what schools or congregations
we went to. It is all a blur. I remember we were in Kissimmee and
then went down south to Boca Raton area then ended up back in Kissimmee.
I
attended various schools, some for only a few months. The one I was
at the longest was a school for Witnesses called 'School for the New
Order', later changed to P.A.L Academy which was located in Orlando.
I
went into correspondence school for 10-12 grade. I finished all my
credits in 1 year and graduated when I was still 15. ;o}
I
was baptized November 7 1987 and immediately started Auxiliary
Pioneering. My goal was to be a regular pioneer.
But
then I was out in a hurricane making sure things were tied down (we
lived in travel trailers) and I got sick, I was sick in bed for about
6 months) :o\
But
when I recovered I started back up and got to Regular Pioneer!
My
mom and I moved back up to Illinois when I was just 18 and I went to
Pioneer School up here.
I
had to go off the Pioneer list when I was around 21, I had been a
Regular Pioneer for 3 1/2 years. I would like to get back to at least
regular auxiliary, but it is difficult as I have AvPD (if you don't
know what that is look it up in the links)
I
am...odd. I like art and writing and my living room in my mobile was
painted to look like a town square (with buildings, even 'brick'
buildings people have to touch to convince themselves it isn't real
brick LOL) My kitchen was and kind of is a tea shop with my
collection of tea pots that DO NOT look like Teapots. My bedroom is a
jungle shack on a beach and my bathroom is 'Underwater' hahaha
So
is it a wonder my cats are named: Thalia, Sambuca, Te'a, Alizar,
Xavier, Nani, Gurgie, Orion, Sonia, Myra, Momiji, Miyuki and Oreo? My
turtle is normal his name is Herman. He is about 15 years old now! He
is very friendly and fun to watch. And my Rabbits are Drambouie and Keiko.
]I
clean houses for a living.
Besides
cleaning I was once a certified massage therapist, I also am a
Certified Computer Tech. I build, upgrade, repair, troubleshoot and tutor.
Also
I am an artist, I work in oil pastel and burnished color and I do
some sculpting with oven baked clay. I recently found the bakable
silver clay so I want to try sculpting some jewelry from that! Cool!
If
you want to see some of my art work go to www.dawnsdesigns.com.
And
I like to write science-fiction and Fantasy stories. ;o}
I
like to watch subtitled Japanese anime too. I am just a big kid. I
am not sure what I want to be when I grow up...I am thinking either a
writer, an artist ...or an elephant...
I
went to Scotland a few years ago. Spent 3 weeks there, 2 just around
the Loch Ness area. Visited the congregations in the area and brought
with me 2 cards with greetings from the brothers and sisters in my
hall. They were so excited. Hehe ;o} Would love to go back someday,
it is beautiful there! And the people are very friendly.
Now
I want to go to Japan! I got it into my little head to go to Japan
so now I gotta do it!
I
want to go and visit my Brothers and Sisters there and go to Tokyo
Disney! I will probably have to learn a little Japanese too..hmmm as
much as a blonde can learn. LOL I am still working on English!
I
met a really nice sister from Tokyo, I would love to meet her in
person. She is such fun. ~~ Hello Reiko!!~~ *Smiles and waves* ;o}
Reiko
seems to think my artwork would sell in Japan. Well I am all for
that! It would be nice if it would sell somewhere! Hahaha
Anyway,
so my goals right now are working toward Pioneering again and going
to Japan for about 2 weeks! Hehe
