Kitchen and Eating

-A mess kit (plate, cup, silverware) & dip bag.

-A bottle for water to carry or a canteen.

-Snack food (if wanted).

 

Sleeping

-Tent, or know whose tent your gonna sleep in.

-Sleeping bag.

-Ground pad or cot.

-Pillow.

-Flashlight.

 

Fire Starting Kit

-Matches and/or butane lighters.

-Anything flamable. Suggestions: sawdust, dryer lint, etc.

 

First Aid Kit*

-6 adhesive bandages.

-2 3x3 in. steril gauze pads.

-1 small roll of adhesive tape.

-1 3x6 in. moleskin.

-1 small bar of soap.

-1 small tube of antiseptic.

-1 pair of scissors.

-1 pair of latex gloves.

-1 mouth barrier device for rescue breathing or CPR.

-1 plastic goggles or other eye protection.

-1 pencil and 1 paper.

 

Clothing

-Dress for the weather.

-T-shirt, jeans, warm long sleeved shirt, sweater or sweatshirt, jacket, underwear and socks.

-Wear layers for the changing temperatures.

 

Toiletries

-Soap.

-Toothbrush and toothpaste.

-Washcloth, towel, and bath towel.

 

Other Camping Things

-Camp chair.

-Backpack.

-Rain gear: Poncho, boots.
