Gorgeous Antique Ruby Glass Brides Bowl with Brass Pedestal and Marble Base. This is a beautiful, highly collectable, Bohemian Art Glass, 1875-1915, Victorian, antique, blown, Ruby, Brides Bowl Compote, Console, with prisms, a Brass Pedestal and a Marble Base. Quite possibly the nicest piece of Ruby Glass that I have seen. This hand blown bowl has the kind of rich, deep ruby red color that only comes from having used real gold as part of the components in creating the crystal. The bowl has a wonderful ring to it. The compote stands 9.5" tall with the Ruby Bowl measuring 10.5" across. The hanging Chandelier Prisms are multi-faceted. This compote and candleholders, with their prisms, are in Excellent Condition. Heart with Thumb Print, EAPG glass ruffled bowl, with gold rim. Also known as "TARENTUM'S HARTFORD" and "COLUMBIAN". Made by the Tarentum Glass Company, Circa 1898, 9 inches wide and 3.5 inches high. The gold is worn thin, the base has a chip, and a couple of scratches from age. This doesn't detract, though, from the beauty of this piece. IT IS WONDERFUL FOR USE AND DISPLAY!!! After quite a bit of research, I was unable to find one of the exact design. It has no chips cracks or crazing and is in very good condition. It portrays pearls, lace and a flower at the hand's base.
