#ls99 Lovely LN/25 "Little Nemo" - Designer Signed Rhinestone Brooch
A very atypical piece from one of the most mysterious and highly regarded designers of early 20th century costume jewelry. Marked LN/25, and stands for "Little Nemo". The mark was first used in January 1913, and belonged to the Brier Manufacturing Co., that was located in Providence, Rhode Island. Th lovely brooch measures 2-1/4 x 3-1/2". Set in pewter-toned metal. Finely molded and sculpted. No missing or dead stones. Safety clasp holds well. Very good condition. This potmetal rhinestone brooch is an exceptional piece by Little Nemo. The flowers are studded with a beautiful Red-orange stones with a gold center. All stones are present. Overall condition of this very old fabulous designer brooch is Excellent. Small antique 'Etruscan' influenced micromosaic frame, radiating out from the central focus of the hand painted portrait plaque it houses. The portrait is of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns. Italian, mid-late 1800's. Very good condition, but missing small amount of tesserae in the frame. No chips or cracks on the hand painted portait plaque.

Variation in the color of the Turquoise indicates some of the finest natural Turquoise around.
The necklace is 26 1/2" long by 2 3/8" wide, and the squash blossom measures 6/16" long by 1/2" wide, with the Artist's initials and "Sterling", on the back. The matching earrings are 1" long by 9/16' wide. This necklace tips the scale at 212 grams.

This ring, is in old, but good condition, size 10, (Med Man's, or Large Ladies Ring). About 1 1/4 inch long by 1 1/8 inch wide and a high profile deep blue green Turquoise cabochon and gold matrix. The stone color is darker, as shown in the 2nd picture. A real collector's item because of it's unusual style, great weight and large Turquoise cab. Amazing, huge, old pawn genuine Turquoise & Sterling Silver Navajo ring, with very large, cabochon set in Silver bezel and surrounded with hand twisted Sterling Silver wire and scroll work, on very heavy Sterling Silver shank. This ring, is in old, but good condition, size 10, (Med Man's, or Large Ladies Ring). About 1 1/4 inch long by 1 1/8 inch wide and a high profile deep blue green Turquoise cabochon and gold matrix. The stone color is darker, as shown in the 2nd picture. A real collector's item because of it's unusual style, great weight and large Turquoise cab. Well made Navajo Turquoise and Sterling is at a premium and this ring is a good example and well made. Ring is unsigned which is not unusual for older Navajo work. In reverence to the cross, the artist has created this one with different varieties of Turquoise from the different mines of the Southwest. It consists of six cabochons that are set into hand filed silver bezels and is further decorated with ten silver raindrops.
