Divinely
A valid time line, Part 7
Perceived through a study of the Word of God

After IIKgs the writings of the Bible are out of order and there is no Chronological setup to them. So the first thing we must do is set the writings in the best chronological order possible. We have to eliminate any stories that occurred inside of our 3745 years. The next story after IIKgs would be Daniel. The time stamp of Daniel is Dan1:1. It indicates Daniel occurred inside of our 3745 years. What we must determine is rather or not the story of Daniel adds to our 3745 years.

Due to Dan1:1 we know it occurred in year 3726. I took our 3745 and subtracted 22 years. That puts us in the time of IIKgs23:36. Then I added 3 years due to Dan1:1. Jehoiakim reign 3 years before Nebuchadnezzar besieged Jerusalem. Then I added 3 more years due to IIKgs24:1. Jehoiakim served Nebuchadnezzar 3 years. This puts us in year 3729. So from 3726 to 3729 Jehoiakim served Nebuchadnezzar. This is also the time Daniel begins.

Due to the statements, Dan9:2 and Ezra1:1 which leads to Jer25:11-12 and 29:10, I have to use the evidence that from Daniel to the reign of Cyrus was 70 years. Now we have to subtract how much of the 70 years are inside of our 3745 years. The 70 years begins some times after 3 years of Jehoiakims reign, which puts us at 3726. We take 3745 - 3726 = 19 years. 19 years is how much of the 70 years is apart of our 3745. Thus 70 - 19 = 51. So we add 51 + 3745 = 3796 years. 3796 is the year Ezra begins.

After my third or fourth reading of Ezra, I have come to find one can not determine how much time passes through the story. I find it strange how the writings keep details on months and days of the month but nothing on years. It is almost as if that information has been omitted. The writings of Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther are not recorded like the writings from our previous studies. To go any further in our calculations we would have to go outside of the Bible. What we need to know is how long Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes reigned. We would have to go to Encyclopedias and History books to finish our calculations. The best that I can see through the writings of the OT is from Geneses to Daniel covers about 3796 years.

Below you can find my results on the word searches for "year" and "years" on the last three stories of the Bible. Also I suspect the lifetime of Jesus/Emmanuel occurred somewhere inside of these three stories due to the God given time period of when Immanuel is an infant, Isa8:4. Also you can find the other name in which God calls Immanuel, "Maher-shalal-hash-baz". Which is translated as "Pillage hastens, looting speeds, indicating that two cities are to be pillaged at an early date." And that is exactly what the followers of Jesus did to the two cities, Israel and Judah. Notice what God tells Isaiah in Isa8:11, about these people.

"Year"
Ezra:1:1: Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

Ezra:3:8: Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.

Ezra:4:24: Then ceased the work of the house of God which is at Jerusalem. So it ceased unto the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.

Ezra:5:13: But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.

Ezra:6:3: In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits;

Ezra:6:15: And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.

Ezra:7:7: And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.

Neh:2:1: And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.

Neh:5:14: Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.

Neh:10:31: And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

Neh:10:34: And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law:

Neh:10:35: And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:

Neh:13:6: But in all this time was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave of the king:

Esth:1:3: In the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him:

Esth:2:16: So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

Esth:3:7: In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.

Esth:9:27: The Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their seed, and upon all such as joined themselves unto them, so as it should not fail, that they would keep these two days according to their writing, and according to their appointed time every year;

"Years"
Ezra:3:8: Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.

Ezra:5:11: And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.

Neh:5:14: Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.

Neh:9:21: Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.

Neh:9:30: Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.
