Statue of Hecate-Trevia

Fronting the Main Temple is the statue of Hecate-Trevia. Known to the ancients as the Goddess of Three Ways, Hecate was traditionally depicted as having three bodies. This enabled Her to know about everything that transpired in heaven, on the earth and in the underworld. The torches She holds aloft are also traditional symbols, representing Her role as the Guide of Lost Souls, and like the key, the Shower of the Way. Today, many perceive the Goddess as a single-bodied deity, but still retaining Her all-seeing, all-knowing powers. A more modern representation is housed within the Main Temple.
