The Era of Big Goverment is Over in Jeffersonville!
"Help move Jeffersonville forward Elect Kevin Vissing Mayor of Jeffersonville."
• If elected mayor, I will cut expenses on our huge fleet of vehicles. With gasoline prices soaring, I will scrutinize the vehicle take home policy for non-emergency personnel.
• With over 10 years experience in mobile computers and GPS I will be able to further cut costs and maximize our workers production.
• I would move forward with the Canal project. I’ve attended several meetings and realize it’s a no brainier. Even though the EPA has forced us into this expense, past administrations have been "kicking the can down the road".
• The Jeffersonville Redevelopment Department and Economic Development Department have done a great job at bringing economic growth and jobs to our community. I will give them the tools necessary to continue with their great work.
• I will continue to help the developers with Veterans Parkway. We have a huge investment there and need to move forward.
• I will make every effort to install street lights, sidewalks and provide great service to the annexed areas so as to make those people feel welcome and part of Jeffersonville.
• I will work hard to revitalize the 10th street corridor. I like the turning lane better than the grassy median.
• Jeffersonville already has great department heads in place. Most of those will keep their jobs. By keeping proven leaders, this will be a cost saver.
• I intend to always seek public input before starting projects. Before projects are started I will get the appropriate permits.
I have been very fortunate to travel in my life to see many other countries, cities and states. Jeffersonville has the potential to compete with many of those due to our proximity to the Ohio River, major roadways and airports.
I would love the opportunity to shape and mold Jeffersonville into a vibrant, thriving community. It’s plain and simple, I love Jeffersonville!
Don’t forget my slogan “KEVIN IN 11”!
