Meet The Fanta Family And Friends

Family & Friends We are very close families live in Michigan, Portland and Seattle.  Our new baby will be the center of our attention at our annual summer family holiday where we will swim, build sand castles, roast marshmallows, and tell stories around the campfire with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Our family will be eager to hold, love, feed and rock our new baby.  There will be many arms reaching out to this little one.   Once the baby is a little older, we will look forward to introducing him/her to our favorite family reunion at Thanksgiving when we take a ferry with Alan's family to an island near Vancouver, Canada.  We spend long days playing with the children. All the adults cherish the precious moments.  Since we are a small family, we embrace the opportunity to welcome a second child. While we love having family adventures, the majority of our time will be spent nurturing and helping to develop our children's individualities, which requires unconditional love, and affection.  We believe that our primary role as parents is to help our children discover who they are, to love themselves, and to build caring relationships with others in order to reach their full potential.  We have made a lifetime commitment to each other, to Mathias, and are ready to make the same commitment to our second child.  The nurturing spirit and love that have enveloped Mathias since birth have prepared him to be a very gentle brother.   We have a warm and supportive circle of friends plus two sweet kitties that will love to get to know our new family member.  Our new baby will enjoy receiving their love and support throughout her/his life.   Favorite Things To Do Our favorite pastime is laughing together.  We treasure the times we spend telling silly stories and giggling. Our weekends with our new one will be filled with taking long walks through our neighborhood, visiting the park, and letting our children get to know each other.  During the week, we visit the Children's Museum and attend story time at our library.  Someday, Janet will teach the new baby how to swim and sail sailboats while Alan will teach him/her to make Christmas cookies and ginger pancakes (our favorite Saturday morning breakfast).   Alan enjoys cooking wonderful meals for the family on the weekends.  He is also a big kid at heart who loves taking our new baby on special outings He comes from a musical family where he grew up learning how to play the piano and cello.  Today, he sings with the Philharmonic Chorus. When the baby comes, we plan to spend a lot of time cuddling, singing, and discovering and encouraging his or her favorite things to do!  Mathias will teach his new sibling all about toy trains.  It doesn't matter if Mathias is playing with a train, reading a book about trains or visiting the train museum because they are all great as far as he's concerned!  He also has fun in Kindermusik and swim lessons.
