95-98 Miles
Watch out for Old Man Willow! He's just there, at the beginning of this portion of our
journey. When the hobbits stopped in his shade, he entranced them to sleep and nearly ended their travels!
We pass him by and continue to follow the path. It begins to rise and we suddenly come
out of the forest. The path begins to cross a wide lawn of lush, clipped grass. The path is bordered with a neat stone edge here. High up above us on a hill we can see the house of
Tom Bombadil and Goldberry! We've made it through the Old Forest and can look forward to a warm greeting!
