Meg's Purple FretLike Sir Marcus' scroll this one is done in a Mid-14th Century English design inspired by pieces in the Bodlien Library Collection. The calligraphy was completed in gall ink, gouache & 23k gold raised gilding on Vellum. Sir Marcus is an exceptional artisan in his own right and in exchange for this piece I received a fine intricately carved gold ring set with a Sapphire done in Elizabethan design.  |
