| This was one of my absolute faves when I was a kid. I remember marveling at the size of this figure as compared to the other Star Wars figures I had. I think its odd that Lucasfilm thought Chewbacca might seem too scary for kids when they were making Star Wars. As a kid, I always thought of Chewbacca as a big dog that would take up for me if things got rough, just like he looked after Han. I have been fortunate to meet Peter Mayhew several times, and I have thanked him each time for bringing Chewie to life. Plus, the bowcaster with this figure rocks! |
