| Along with my R2-D2, I got my C-3PO for my 3rd birthday. I think my mom knew that George Lucas was going to frame the 6 Star Wars movies around the two droids when she bought them for me. That way, I could get the two figures I would have to have, to relive any scene from Star Wars. Just think, way back in the 1970's, people met C-3PO and R2 before they knew what a Jedi, lightsaber, or even a Wookie was! So, here is to good ol' goldenrod . . . may he always be a pompous protocol droid! |
