Much like the Bespin Luke figure, this Vader fig benefits from a cool base, and playability.  This isn't the best Vader sculpt to date, but it's far from the worse.  The only major gripe I have is with the damn action feature stick jutting out of the figure's back.  Luckily, Hasbro molded the cape to cover the nasty thing.  The base is super-cool, with a column that can be "cut" in two.  The lightsaber, with its metal hilt, is also outstanding.  Here's hoping Hasbro never goes back to plastic lightsaber hilts!  An excellent figure all-in-all.

Luckily this version of Vader's action feature button is hidden under the cape. However, it is still there. Action features suck. They are for children too lazy to create their own magical and action packed play environments for their toys. What ever happened to the good old days where q-tips or pop rivets became "action" features. Oh well, this figure is still great! Not the greatest Vader ever but comes pretty close due to the accessories. The base is great. I wish all HASBRO Star Wars figures had this kind of base.  HASBRO just keeps making things better and I heard they were doing away with the action feature for the most part. Thank you!
