At first glance there really isn't much difference between this Dooku figure and the one released in 2002.  However, when you take this figure out of its packaging and play around with it, you will start to see why this figure was produced.  The articulation of this figure is above my expectations.  From the shoulder ball joints to the double neck articulation, this figure comes with plenty of pose-able possibilities.  The force lightning is also a nice accessory for recreating the Geonosian Hangar battle.  And, the cape sculpt is a nice touch as well . . .  I love all toys that are based on Christopher Lee, especially ol Darth Tyranus here. I think the sculpt is quite nice with the textured clothing effect and the flowing draped cape. The face sculpt is also great - he has that mean and cocky appeal. The paint and the articulation aren't this figure's greatest qualities, however they aren't totally bad. On the good side, this figure's force energy attachment is kick ass! Especially when you aim it at Yoda and relive the final AOTC battle, in action figure role play.
