When I first saw the sculpt for this figure online, I thought this figures design left much to be desired.  I was (and to a certain degree still am) not a big fan of the "wings in motion" sculpt that this figure boasts.  However, upon opening this figure I can honestly say that this figure isn't too bad.  The Ep. 1 Watto is still the definitive Watto figure, but at least Hasbro didn't just rehash the old sculpt.  On a side note, this figure would have rocked if the hat was removable and held in place with a magnet (like the Jedi "force" magnets). This figure is not as nice as the EP1 version in some ways. Mainly the paint scheme lacks compared to its predecessor. The articulation is overall average, however this is Watto. How much articulation can you expect from this guy? The two greatest aspects of this figure are the sculpted hat (way cool) and the stand that gives this rotund Toydarian the illusion of flight. All in all this is a good figure, but not the greatest.
