After having bought the head-band Obi Wan (Obi Wan pilot) and the out-of-scale Obi Wan (initial release), I had hopes that the Acklay Battle Obi would be a better representation of Ewan McGregor's portrayal of the regal Jedi Knight in Episode II.  The head sculpt has a decent likeness and the pose, all be it static, does look pretty cool.  My only real complaint is the . . . you guessed it . . . damn action feature!  Because of the action feature, this figure has a horrible looking shoulder.  Additionally, the magnet in Obi's hand is HUGE.  With just a few corrections Hasbro could have made this an awesome figure. This figure is OK, but just not all that great. Let's start with the best parts of Obi-wan here. The face sculpt is almost dead on and this may be the greatest example of the jedi-mullet in action figure history. This figure has a butt load of accessories which is cool and also this figure looks good displayed with the spear in his hands fighting off the Acklay beast. Other than these highpoints, I feel this figure, as a figure, is lacking. Once again I despise the action feature. This one in particular, as it appears to make Obi-wan show us just how hard up he really is. Where's is the Padme Unleashed figure when you need it!
