Growing Roses taught by BGRS President Bob Jacobs. Content
includes:
how to start a new rose bed, buy
a rose bush, then planting instructions, how to care for the
bush, cutting back spent blooms to encourage new growth,
mulching, etc right up to how to prepare for winter. He shows
all the tools, sprays that are helpful. This class is encouraging
growing good roses. Anyone interested needs to contact
Community Education, to
sign up. Participants will tour the Jacobs' rose garden and
have hands on experience in pruning. |
