 Isaac
settles in the Negeb
(right -- bottom left on the map). Here his twin sons Esau and
Jacob are born.
|
 After the twins reach maturity, Isaac moves to Gerar (below). He moves around in the Gerar area, opening some of his father's old wells and digging new ones. Then he moves to Beersheba, site of the well (left) reputed to be one of Abraham's wells.
