Since we are a volunteer cooperative, we expect some input. You may be called upon to help hang a show, help with publicity of food for an opening, or any number of other tasks, none that are strenous or labor intensive. Membership entitles you to our monthly e-newsletter with news about upcoming shows, opportunities, and achievements of WAA members. Our meetings often have special themes, guest speakers, or art demonstrations. You will be entitled to show your work in our Theme Show/Open Show, and have your work considered for our juried show, the Grand WAABash. You will get to meet some of the area’s best artists and get pointers or advice on how to promote your own career as an artist. Membership is only $25.00 for one year (beginning in January of each year). WAA meets monthly the first Wednesday of most months at 7 pm. The majority of our meetings are held at the Wells Community Center, 638 North Street, Lafayette, IN.
