Here is a place where you can enter a chat room for the first time.

1) Type in a screen name to enter the room. Otherwise people can not tell who says what. (If your name is not accepted, click on login to re-enter.
2) Click on the OK CONNECT button
3) Now you can type messages on the line on the bottom and read what other people write back.
4) To see only the chat room, click on FLOAT. It opens in a separate window, which you can maximize to avoid adds, clutter and see more text.5) You can scroll back up to the beginning of the chat , and even print out the whole conversation later on.
6) These two little buttons on the
left enable you to talk to one person in private, or ignore a person in the chat
room when they make senseless or rude comments.
In order to do this, you first have to highlight the name of that person in the
'User info" box.
