This is the final piece I did for the White Wolf submissions. I am incredibly proud of it. I believe it is actually the first fantasy based picture I have ever painted. I really like how the guesso I spattered on the picture made the effect of snow in the sky and snow spraying up from the werewolf's feet as he slides around the tree. I started this picture with a transfer from the sketch in the sketch section. I then did a light oil wash, and I followed that up with some colored pencil work. At that point it didn't look done and I realized it need much more paint. I needed to paint thick and didn't want to wait weeks for it to dry before I sent it to White Wolf, so I used acrylic. I have become much more comfortable with painting since I have been doing the mural at work. Anyway, this is the end result. I don't know about you, but one of the most satisfying things in the world is slowly peeling off the tape on the border of a finished piece of work and putting my signature or symbol on it. Man I love that.
