This Page Really Sucks!!

Or at least the vacuum cleaners on this page do!!!!

My Royal Hand Vac

. It’s model 157 and was made by the “A.P. Greier Co.”, who started making them in 1937, and changed it’s name, when it was sold in 1953, to “The Royal Appliance Mfg. Co.”. I’m not sure exactly when mine was made.

I found it at a local thrift store for $12.12, and after replacing the missing belt; it cleans as well as ever.

My Electrolux Automatic “E”

I found it at another local thrift store for $5.05.

The hose was very leaky, so I took the cleaner end off the old hose, and put it on a good plastic thrift store hose, and put a new swivel cuff on the attachment end, and now with a good hose, the Automatic “E” cleans better than a lot of new vacs.

I’ve got all the attachments except the crevice tool. I even have the floor polisher!!

I think it’s my favorite tank (canister) Vac!
