The Song & Slogan Performance Documentary

Celebrating the life and work of poet Carl Sandburg, this Emmy winning performance documentary features a musical adaptation of the poet’s "Prairie" performed in a natural prairie setting. The late opera star Jerry Hadley, who performed and recorded the work, commissioned composer Daniel Steven Crafts to write the new work for tenor and chamber ensemble. (Producer Tim Hartin, Associate Producer and Cellist Barbara Hedlund).
