GEN-CON 2002 LAST OF MILWAUKEE

Thank god it's coming to my neck of the woods, Indianapolis. Aside from selfish reasons, like no more dealing with Chicago traffic; there's no more dealing with two restaurants located in the downtown area. "Well, they have the food courts in the mall", you say. Yes, that's fine for lunch but, the mall closes at 6pm! What's for dinner? You honestly can't swing a dead cat without hitting a restaurant in downtown Indy, not to mention the hotels. There's at least eight hotels that are within walking distance of the convention center that will be able to quite easily hold the entire convention under one roof. It's all interconnected. You will be able to go to all the RPG, board games tournaments, the art shows, the lectures, the huckster's room; all without seeing that vile blinding ball of flame up in the sky for you heliophobes out there. Believe me, when you make it to next year's Gen-Con, you'll say; "Milwaukee, where's that? Never heard of it." And for those that are claiming that it should stay for 'traditional' reasons, Gen-Con has been in three different location since its inception in 1968.
