Digiscoping by Travis Mahan

THIS WEBPAGE IS BEST VIEWED WITH A MONITOR RESOLUTION OF 1024 X 768

The following is a list of bird species that I have photographed using either a Nikon Coolpix 4500 digital camera or an SLR camera. Though the photographs may not have been taken in Illinois, they are arranged by their status in the state of Illinois as designated by the Illinois Ornithological Records Committee (IORC). Review List species are listed in capitalized text and require documentation in the state of Illinois. To view the entire Review List developed by IORC click here.

My digiscoping setup includes the following equipment:

·         Swarovski ST 80 HD (20 - 60X eyepiece)

·         Nikon Coolpix 4500

·         Lens Plus 2Plus LE-Adapter with 37mm to 28mm ring
