Our Trip to China

Here is our itinerary for our trip.

MARCH 8 Depart from Louisville International Airport at 7:57 a.m. Make connecting flight in Chicago, then fly non-stop to Beijing, China.

MARCH 9 Arrive at Beijing Airport at 3:40 p.m. Check into Grand View Garden Hotel.

MARCH 10 Visit a jade merchant, The Great Wall, and the Summer Palace.

MARCH 11 Visit Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City, and a pearl merchant.
At 3:15 p.m., fly to Nanning in Guangxi Province and check into the Majestic Hotel.

MARCH 12 Prayer Time and completion of adoption registration forms.

MARCH 13 9:00-Bus to Civil Affairs Office to meet Meikina!!!

MARCH 14 Bus to Civil Affairs and Notary offices to complete the adoption registration. Go SHOPPING in the afternoon!

MARCH 15 Bus to Green Hill Park for a tour.

MARCH 16 Bus to Guangxi Ethnic Park

MARCH 17 Fly to Guangzhou and check into the White Swan Hotel

MARCH 18 Medical check-up for Meikina and have her visa photo taken. Complete documents for the consulate appointment on Monday.

MARCH 19 Walk to a nearby church for a Sunday sermon. Free time for the rest of the day.

MARCH 20 AHH Guide will deliver visa documents to the consulate. Group photo in the afternoon. Pizza Hut for lunch. Two hour river cruise in the evening.

MARCH 21 Visit U.S. Consulate for adoption oath. Group dinner in the evening.

MARCH 22 Depart from Guangzhou Airport for Hong Kong. Depart from Hong Kong for the U.S. at 11:15 a.m. Arrive in Chicago, make connecting flight to Louisville, arrive at Louisville International at 6:07 p.m.
