Consignors
To participate in our sale as a consignor, keep reading! When you are ready to sign-up, follow the directions below and print out the form under the "Registration" tab (at left). Cost: Registration fees help us cover the cost of rental, advertising & bar-code labels. Fees vary based on the number of sales in which you participate.
$20 - fall sales... September, November & December
$20 - winter sales...January, March & April
$20 - Spring sales...May & June
$30 - Summer sales...July & August
Level of work (on your part) & level of payment (on our part):
DIY...Do it yourself... inventory list, prices, labels = 65% of your sales
Bellman service (drop it off before the sale, pick up your check after the sale) = 40% of your sales
What to do:
1) Contact The Teachers’ Workroom and let us know you want to be a consignor. Call Shelley @ 859-221-1996 and leave a message, or send an e-mail (link at left). We will e-mail you the registration form!! (You can view the one of the left, but it prints weird!!!)
2) Pay the registration fee and mail/fax us your form. We accept cash, check & money order. (UNFORTUNATELY, we cannot afford to take credit/debit cards.) Once your registration is paid, you will receive an information packet detailing how to label items to be sold, along with your registration i.d., and other important information.
3) Follow instructions in packet to get your pre-printed bar-code labels. Then , sign up for a time to drop off your items.
4) You can donate unsold items or return to pick them up on the specified date. Checks can be picked up within one week of the sale! Use the money for vacation, or to get a jump on materials for the next school year!
***We need LOTS of volunteers to make this run smoothly. Sign up to volunteer for a 4-hour shift and receive a ticket to attend the PRE-SALE EVENT on Wednesday . You get to shop before everyone else!! That means FIRST CHANCE at all the good stuff!! See the volunteer link (on the left).
