| About the groomer, Sandy Blackburn | |
Sandy Blackburn is a professional groomer, dog trainer/behaviorist, an award winning pet photographer, multiple award winning creative groomer and freelance journalist with her column “Dog Speak” in her local newspaper “The Neighbor” in her hometown of Attica, Indiana.
She lives with her husband Tim of 19 years and their two sons Drew and Lane and hosts of animals all of whom are rescues, “Jasmine” a standard poodle “Dreamer” a sheltie, “Dixie” a domestic short hair cat, “Guido” and “Luigi” guinea pigs, “Speedy” a painted turtle and “Bob” a goldfish.
She has spent the past 10 years perfecting her pet care skills and can be found plying her craft at her salon “The Groom Room” in Attica.
