Game & Watch Keychain Games
Released by Toymax International these are some pretty find keychains. There
are four games total which are Donkey Kong Jr., Fire, Parachute, and Super
Mario Bros. The screens on each of these ar about an inch and half diagonally
across. The LCDs are scaled down originals of the old wide screen games which
you can learn more about in that section. The keychain games are identical
to the originals except that they are a bit smaller so all your old moves that
worked for you years ago still apply, and all the great tunes such as the
musical pieces in Super Mario Bros. are still there. These Game & Watch
keychains just like the originals have a small stand in the back so you can
use the unit as a clock and alarm when on the road. If you would like to read
the press release on these you can do that at
nin64.com. To see what all four of the keychains look like just click on
the Donkey Kong Jr. Mini-Classics above. And if you click the second image to
the side you can see three more that have come out, but just not in America.
Also be advised that is a 145K picture so give it a little time as it is big.
PalmOS Game & Watch Simulation
As if making simulators wasn't enough which are linked to in the links section
many intuitive people around the world have started to recreate those Game &
Watch classics for the PalmOS for Palm Pilots and Handspring Visors. Located
all over the internet I found one page in particular to link to that has
simulated versions of Donkey Kong Jr., Parachute, Octopus, and Fire (with the
names changed as to not break any laws). The site shows you a bit of
information on Octopus and gives links on where to buy it and to find other
Game & Watch simulators for the PalmOS.
