       The Manners Park swimming pool will be open for our private use from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm.

The Period Swimsuit Competition!
      Divisions:"Best Male"; "Best Female"; "If they'd a had it, they'd a used it".
      Judged by by popular acclaim, by the pool at 7:30(ish)pm.
        Minister of Ceremonies: Thomas de Cordoba.

Site Fees: $6.00 per person over 12, $3.00 ages to 12, under age 5 free, $20.00 max. per family
Payable to: "SCA-Shire of Swordcliff". The Non-member Surcharge will apply on top of adult fees

Directions to the site:
From the North on I55 via Springfield: take Exit 96B to Rt. 29 South to Taylorville. Follow Rt. 29 into town, it curves south just past the Pizza Hut and becomes Webster St. Stay on Webster St. past the Walgreens. This will take you into the back entrance to Manner's Park.

From Decatur, take Rt. 48 South to Taylorville, at the intersection just past the YMCA turn right, this is Lincoln Trail. At the stop light turn right again, this will put you on Rt. 29 or Spresser St., into Taylorville, Keep going west till you get to the intersection of Spresser and Webster, past the Walgreens. Turn left and follow Webster into the back entrance of Manner's Park

From the South on I55: take RT 48 from the Raymond Exit, follow it north till you get to Taylorville, turn left/north onto South Spresser St. Follow it into Taylorville till you get to the intersection of Spresser St and Webster St. past the Walgreens. Turn right/south on Webster and follow it into the back entrance of Manner's Park.

From RT 29 South, drive north into Taylorville. Stay on RT29/Spresser ST till you get to the intersection of Spresser St and Webster St. Turn left/south follow it into the back entrance of Manner's Park

Once inside the Park drive around till you come to the stop sign in front of the pool. Turn right, We'll be at the pavillion just south of the pool.

A quick note to all from the autocrat: The park is very easy to get into, however maps will be available on a first come basis for those wishing to exit the park....
