To Wrestlers/Parents,

We are quickly approaching freestyle wrestling season and you are all encouraged to participate.  Freestyle wrestling has played a large role in the success that Princeton wrestlers have had in the past.  It is vital that every wrestler who is striving to excel in the sport gets involved in freestyle wrestling.  The freestyle season is a fun filled season that involves three practices a week and a different tournament every weekend.  We have had numerous freestyle state place winners in the past and hope to continue that tradition again this year.  Being involved in the freestyle program at Princeton is not only going to help our wrestlers improve their skills for next years scholastic season but also keep our program known as one of the premier programs in Southern Indiana.  Freestyle cards can be purchased from Jeff Smith, they cost $30.00 and a birth certificate is required at the time of purchase.  Freestyle practice will begin Monday, March 20, 2006 at the high school wrestling room.  We will practice from 3:30-5:30 on all practice dates.  The normal practice schedule will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  Practices are not mandatory but attendance is recommended.  Help make this another fun and successful freestyle season by getting involved and CONTINUE THE TRADITION OF PRINCETON CHAMPIONS!

Due to the fact that we only have one week of practice before our first meet will follow this practice schedule for the first week only.

March 20        3:30-5:30                    (Freestyle)

March 21        3:30-5:30                    (Greco-Roman)

March 22        3:30-5:30                   (Freestyle)

March 23        3:30-5:30                    (Greco-Roman)
