Meeting held at Mike Wagner’s house, with out Mike.

All enjoyed free long distance and liberal use of his bar.

  1. Tuesday June 8th – meet the staff day at noon at Crooked Creek
  2. We are on a fixed line of credit so turning the boat around should be easy in the future.
  3. Our new boat is here… Retail $46K, but we got it for $32K due to our involvement with the scouts!
  4. Dues are now due on May 1st, and the bylaws are amended as $1250 first year, $1100 a year after that.
  5. Send your AWSA card to Frank ASAP
  6. This year camp will be 6 weeks long plus a special 7th week for people with Diabetes.
  7. Training times are again 1:30 to 4:30 M-F.
  8. We encourage you to sign up for training so that we have only 2 people training on any given week. This is less confusing for us and the scouts.
  9. We are targeting putting the boat in the water the last week in April.
  10. May 22nd – Work Party… all are required to help out.
  11. Greg and Art will get the lift ready the week of 4/19.
  12. Frank needs volunteers to help the camp set up their docks. Contact Frank directly… on his CELL PHONE.

Meeting Minutes, 6 pm November 20th, 2005, at Buckhead Grill.

Members present: Art Kestler, Andy Anderson, Steve Sheltz, Sam Gordon,
Mike Wagner, Frank Warburg, Greg Poganski.

Unanimous vote in favor of adding new members. Welcome Steve Ward and
Rich Blinkhorn !! Both present at meeting. Rich's work phone is 231-9663.
Steve Ward's cell phone is 494-3782.

New members will each pay $500 initiation fee, due April 1st, to Mike
Wagner. All members regular annual dues will be $1,100, due June 1st,
payable to Mike Wagner.

Mike verified the lift top has been removed and stored for the winter. We
need to verify the electric winch motor has been removed and stored as
well.

New 2006 Ski Nautique 196 is at the dealer; dealer will store the boat
inside until we take delivery in April. New boat has white hull, dark
blue
primary stripe, yellow trim, dark blue bimini top, and one cupholder.

Who has the spare prop from the 2004 Nautique?

Best financing arrangement appears to be through Art's credit union (L&N
Federal). Art believes he can secure a 6.00% interest rate. Mike
requests Art to request that rate on a five-year note. Loan will be in Art's name;
Mike will work with legal counsel to secure a "collateral agreement" which
would be signed by all club members, to limit Art's financial exposure on
the loan. Mike to send Art the new boat's serial number. Art will
contact credit union in the next few days.

Lake is not ready for NIT tournament or wakeboarding, due to continued
erosion of shoreline (need much more rock).

Spring work day(s) will include:

1. Constructing and installing a simple "vee" at the front of the lift, to
keep the boat centered and keep it from making contact with the dock when
driving in. Steve can fabricate with boards (2"x 6") and carpeting
wrapped around and tacked;

2. Mike wants tie-up cleats on dock. Caution: toe stubbing hazard. May
need to re-think;

3. Lift cables may need lubrication or replacement;

4. Large tree in cove to remove. Beaver damage. Send Rob Wright in with
either chain saw that operates while fully submerged, or high explosives;

5. More rock on shoreline. Organize scouts to help?

6. Evaluate the condition of the lift bunk carpet. Replace if rotted or
worn through;

7. Install lift cover, and electric winch.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
