What does the Bible say
about Jesus Christ?
Isaiah 53, Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He shall
grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a
root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And
when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised
and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as
it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely
He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His
stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We
have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the
iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not
His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. He was
taken from prison and from judgment, And who will
declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And
they made His grave with the wicked but with the rich at His death, Because He
had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His
seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in
His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By
His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with
the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out
His soul unto death, and He was numbered with
the transgressors and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the
transgressors.
John 14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and
the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Hebrews 1:1-4, God, who at various times and in various ways
spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days
spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom
also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express
image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He
had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on
high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by
inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Matthew 14:22-33, Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into
the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes
away. And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by
Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. But the boat was
now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.
Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying,
“It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus
spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be
afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He
said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the
boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was
boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying,
“Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and
caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you
doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who
were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to
Matthew 11:29-30, Come to Me, all you
who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and
lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
