The lamb in innocents
The bear at play
She finds herself alone
       To wander life
Amidst the nightshade
She seeks out the Moon
Waxing and Waning
Has her love for the Light
The lamb's gentleness
The bear's stubbornness
The Moon watches her
Moon's Light trying to ease
       Her path
She searches for a friend
But as the lamb is fearful
The bear is shy
       She hides
From the soft guiding Moonlight
From all that come near
Afraid as gashes bled anew
       No trust
The lamb or the bear
Rain falls softly to the ground
       Cry of the lamb
She hears
       Cry of the bear
They are one
The bear gives her courage
The lamb, spring newness
As a child, she learns
She learns
       To trust again
