She is a retired RN, lived in California until 1996. She stayed in Louisville and traveled until their house was built in Crossville, TN in 1998.

She enjoys reading, walking, camping, volunteering in community, and church involvement. She adds, " Enjoy retirement and traveling, especially to see grandkids. Sorry I am unable to attend this year (2005). I made the 40th. Hopefully, I'll make the next one."
