She is a former first and fifth grade teacher and presently enjoys visiting antique shows, estate sales and auctions. She also enjoys flower gardening and keeping grandchildren.

Her husband, Tom is former director of the Rauch Planetarium. Over the years he has collected over 600 canes of various kinds and would be interested in seeing any of your unusual canes.
