Martha has one son, Thomas R Johns, Jr. who is the owner of Zebra Lounge Vintage in Lexington, KY and a graduate of Northwestern.

She is a retired CPA and Prof. Emeritus of Bellarmine College. Martha currently maintains a residence in Louisville and in Naples, FL.

She has two VW New Beetles (one garaged in each location), travels to exotic places, buys fixer-upper houses in Florida to refurbish and sell, makes the best Margaritas, and enjoys entertaining - "life is good!"
