DR & Travel

Debbie's Dominican Travel: Although the travel/visa requirements are not applicable (it's a Canadian site), the other information is invaluable. You can read reviews of all the resorts here, and they're very informative for learning tips and tricks to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Remember though, there's always someone who is miserable.

Dominican Republic: The official site of the Dominican Republic, this site covers tourism, culture, and news.

Riu Resorts: This is the official site of the resorts in which we're staying.

American Embassy - Dominican Republic: Helpful, albeit slightly paranoid, website of the US Embassy in the DR

Magellan's: A great source of travel accessories - this is a good place to buy an "A" adaptor for the DR. Specific info on electrical accessories can be found here.



Registry Information: We've had several requests to post this information.

The Lazarus-Macy's registry is part of the "Wedding Gift Registry Alliance" and is shared (list and stock) with Macy's, Bon Marche, Burdine's, Goldsmith's, and Rich's-Macy's. You should be able to access the registry at any of these stores.
