Job well done
This letter was written to Flint Ink employer of Tom Lesperance

to whom it may concern .  On march 9,05 there was a terrible accident on interstate 70 in illinois at m.m. 38. A 18 year old girl was ejected from her car and landed 100 feet away. As i and others stop to lend assist we could not find the driver. Stranger then show up and started ripping the door off the car and in doing so gain entry to look inside. he then told everyone to look in the ditches and to start searching. A few seconds later he yelled to say he had found the driver. she was 100 feet from the car.as we went over to help, the stranger had begun to assist the girl,as we all stood there we watch him doing what seem to be a normal procedure for him. He did everything he could [seeing the state in which she was in] He then said no pulse, no breathing, ears bloody and clear fluid, and mouth full of blood with chest crush. He then turned and said there was nothing anyone could do.The girl did die at the scene and probably died before he could help her. amazing how a stranger tried everthing he could do save the life of another stranger and was unable to do it.At that time the stranger covered the girl up and slammed his fist into the ground and could be heard to say dam it. He then got up and returning to his truck where then i told him he did a very heroic thing in trying to save her life, and thank him for trying. I also said this was the first horrible accident that i have ever seen and hope its my last. He then turned to me and said yes it was, but with all his training he has had, that she still died and that it is still not fair,he turned and returned to his truck. after that i realized how lucky we are to have a person like him putting his life second to try to save others.I hope your company realized how lucky you are to have a employee like this to put his life second to help others in time of need. This stranger climb into a gray international with flint ink on the door as well as the tanker he was pulling. a description or the driver is about 6 ft. to 6 ft 2 inches tall 260 lb.. had a hat saying fdny with a mustache to his chin, very large built and also he reminded of a wrestler named the hulkster.as i am a wrestling fan. I hope you can find this driver in your company and say thank you,Job Well Done. Hope that this letter shows you how lucky you are to have a professional driver like this.                                                                                              thank you  jack johnson o/o   truck driver- again tell him for me job well done.
