Sensei Lucas W. Wright started his training in 1991 in the general area of Watseka Illinois. He has trained continuously to the present date.

The martial arts he has trained in include: Shuri Ryu Karate Do, Shudo-Kan Karate Do, Muai Thai, Jeet Kune Do, Hapkido, Kodokan Judo, Nippon Ketsugo Ryu Jujitsu, Aikido, & Shoto-Jitsu.

His Black Belt Ranks are: Nippon Ketsugo Ryu Jujitsu - 4th Dan, Shudo-Kan Karate Do - 3rd Dan, Shoto-Jitsu - 2nd Dan, Kodokan Judo - 1st Dan.

His instructors have included Grand Master Ron Reed, Professor Bill Mc Gee, Sensei Vera Wessels, Mr. Warren Carey. Instructors he has trained with include Professor Carlton Pat Burke, Professor Larry Hilton, Grand Master Steve Silvey, Soke Mike Kleppin, Professor Arthur Beier, O'Sensei Phil Porter, Master Wayne Hall, and Master Carl Southard.

His current instructor is Grand Master Ron Reed who has been training with for some time now. The arts that he has been currently training in are Shoto-Jitsu, Nippon Ketsugo Ryu Jujitsu, Hapkido, & Aikido. His School is Called T.W.K.C. School of Self-Defense in Watseka Illinois. This is were he teaches the arts of Shoto-Jitsu, Nippon Ketsugo Ryu Jujitsu & Shudo-Kan Karate Do.

Some of Sensei Wright's other accomplishments are: Certified Karate Instructor, Certified Jujitsu Instructor, N.S.A. Agent Level two - Kid Safe Network, 2004 United States Martial Arts Association International Hall of Fame Inductee for The Most Distinguished Instructor of the Year, president of T.A.P.T.
